While our current understanding of a “beach day” is based in 19th century leisure activities, many of our global ancestors found time to relax and play along the many bodies of water found around the world, from the lakes and rivers of medieval Europe to the seasides of ancient Rome to the oceans of the seafaring cultures of the Pasifika.

Come bring your projects, questions, problems, and knowledge to share with other artisans. There is a kitchen so if anyone wants to demonstrate cooking techniques or brewing, have at it!
